My opinion:

I bought this mainly to substitute my laptop cd drive which my son jammed it and it stopped working.i use windows 10 and this cd drive works well in it. Just plug to the USB port it auto runs the installation and the driver shows under my computer as external drive .since its USB 3 so faster data transfer but its compatible with USB 2 also. It's ultra light and very compact . So easy to carry in my laptop bag. The connecting USB cable is attached and is secured at the back of the device.it read the cd flawlessly do the quality of the video is perfect not stick . It's also used for running installation CDs software etc. overall a very good quality product that definitely is worth the money spent.
