To disable some of the startup programs.

Normally we disable a few of the memory consuming startup programs to enhance the performance of the system.This modification can be done using the Startup managing utility.
MSCONFIG is the command for startup managing utility, using which you can enable /disable the startup application in the system configuration utility.
Steps to be followed :

• Click on the "Start Menu" and then "Run" OR                   Press "Windows key + r"
• In the run prompt type"msconfig".
• Hit the  Enter tab.
• Click on the "Startup" tab and view the list of the startup programs.
• Uncheck the corresponding entries of the application which you want to disable in the startup.
• Click OK.

You have successfully completed.Now you have to restart your system to acknowledge the change you have made to the system configuration utility.
