To display file extensions for all types of files.

By default the file name extensions of known file types are not displayed or hidden.If you want to enable the file name extensions for all the files in the desktop and windows explorer,follow these simple steps

Steps to be followed :

• Click on the "Start Menu"
• Go to the " Control Panel "
• Select the  "Folder option tab"
• Click on the "View " tab
• Uncheck the check box"Hide extensions for known file types"
• Click OK.

You have successfully enabled the option to display all the file name extensions.
